Studying the moon is alway interesting. We watched this animation to show us waxing and waning. We had fun trying to identify the different phases of the moon.

The Good Way and the Bad Way...

Today we did some acting to reinforce classroom procedures! We got to act out the "bad way" to follow classroom rules, and then the "good way" to do the same things! I'm glad the kids had so much fun, because they promised NEVER to do things the "bad way" again!

Look at us! Every day we spend some time working toward our goal of writing all of the numbers to 1,000. Busy, busy, busy! We are much faster than we were a week ago. Only 500 numbers to go! We can do it!!

Puppet People

We are no longer a class of empty faces! Last week we took some time to make our puppets into real people! We are all unique!

While We Were Away...

Summer has come and gone, and don't you think for a second that you were the only ones having a good time this summer...

Mrs G: My favorite thing this summer was playing with my kids and going boating. We went to Lake Powell for a week and spent a whole bunch of time swimming and riding in the boat. My son even got up on water skis!

Mrs. Bybee:

This summer my family went camping in the Uintahs. I was so brave and rode a dirt bike for the first time! It was exciting, and I was having a great time, until a I fell off! Ooops! Thankfully I didn't get hurt. I might even try it again sometime!
