A Fun Summer For Everyone

Summer has come and gone, and don't you think for a second that you were the only ones having a good time this summer...

Mrs G: My favorite thing this summer was playing with my kids and going boating. We went to Lake Powell for a week and spent a whole bunch of time swimming and riding in the boat. My son and daughter got up on water skis!

Mrs. Bybee:

This summer I spent time entertaining my children.  We laughed and played all summer long!  I also ran in the Ragnar race with some of my friends.  It was hard, but I liked it so much that I decided to run it again in a few months!

Our Sweet Reward

Being the top lower grade readers in the school had a great reward!  Donuts in the morning and pizza in the afternoon.  See kids?  Reading does pay off!

CJ MILES and Ice cream

What an amazing day! I love that our school is so dedicated to the Jazz reading contest. I love seeing how excited the kids get to meet the players.

This year our surprise guest was CJ Miles. He read to us, answered our questions, and then showed off his skills.

But the fun wasn't over! We also got to enjoy some Russell's ice cream! YUM! YUM! YUM!!
