1 to 1,000
Wonder what your kids have been working so hard on? Well, we set a goal to write all the numbers from 1 clear up to 1,000! Everyday we write one hundred more numbers! Our little fingers are bone tired when we are done! What an accomplishment this is going to be!!!

Using Music and Movement to Meet
Today we used our bodies to make the first letter of each of our names. Then we got in a big circle and acted out each name in our class!
Next we used scarves and danced to different kinds of music! Our movements were small, fast and frantic during quick songs! Our movements were slow and large during slow songs.
Finally we got a buddy and listened to Dueling Banjos! One of us was the first guitar, the other the second! It was just like the instruments were having a conversation!
Music and movement made meeting each other lots of fun!

The Best Questions...
Today after introducing herself, Mrs. Bybee let the students ask her some questions. Two of my favorite questions were...
"Is that your real hair color?"
and
"Do you have any cavities?"

Five Things You Didn't Know About Mrs. G
Five Things You Didn't Know About Mrs. Bybee
I bet you didn't know these amazing things about Mrs. Bybee...
1. She had a scholarship to Yale University, but, in a twist of fate, attended a different University instead.
2. She teaches aerobics at Clearfield Aquatic Center. Watch out for her mean right-hook!
3. She loves to sing, and will sing in class a lot, but she just can't hit the right notes.
4. She's married to a firefighter. She married him for his truck. (Get it---- a firetruck.)
5. She is a huge fan of beef jerky, grilled chicken, watermelon, and Diet Dr. Pepper.
