Painting and Collage...

It takes a lot of work to make a collage. (Which is why our class only does it once or twice a year!)

Step 1: Using tempra paint, we went crazy creating "pretty paper" to be cut up and used later in our collages.
Yes. There was paint EVERYWHERE! Cohen even had it all over his glasses.

I love this part of the project because it's just so free! Painting however they want without rules.




Step 2: Let the pretty paper dry. Come up with a collage plan. Sketch the animal you are going to try to create. Use basic shapes.

Step 3: Find colors and textures to fit your sketch.

Step 4: Start cutting!
