JAZZ Assembly!

Have you ever heard 300 kids screaming with unrestrained excitement?  Imagine if you will, our little cafeteria packed with grades K-6, all cheering, and yelling, and having the time of their lives, and you will know a little bit of what the Jazz assembly was like.

Earl Watson was our Jazz player, and I thought he did an excellent job reading to, and talking with the kids.  (Some of the Jazz players in the past have not been as articulate...)  But Earl did a wonderful job of encouraging the kids, telling them not to try to be "cool", they should just be who they are, and answering our endless questions.  (Did you know he goes through 24 pairs of shoes a season?)

Follow Earl up with a Russell's Ice-cream milkshake, and you have the BEST DAY EVER!!!

Congrats to our supreme readers!!!  Being the K-2 champs is a title we hold proudly.
